Have you ever wondered if there is a way to preserve newspaper clippings?

Drop one Milk of Magnesia tablet into one quart of warm club soda in a large bowl and dissolve it overnight. On a large cookie sheet with sides pour in 1/2 inch of the preservative solution. Place the newspaper clippings in the liquid and let it set until thoroughly saturated. Remove the clippings and lay them out to dry on a flat surface. This preservative will prevent clippings from turning yellow as long as the clippings are kept out of direct sunlight.
