Bruce Lee's lightning fast moves inspired generations of viewers.

Bruce Lee was an accomplished martial artist whose movies thrilled audiences in the late 1960s and early 1970s. In his TV and movie roles, Bruce Lee fought off scores of attackers at lightning speed in inspired fight scenes.

In fact, his martial arts moves were so fast that the cameramen for Bruce Lee's TV series The Green Hornet had to ask him to slow down his swift hand strikes so they could record them on film.

A few years later, during the filming of Enter the Dragon -- which became Bruce Lee's most successful martial arts movie -- Lee's kung fu moves were so fast that the camera speed had to be adjusted to capture the action.

Bruce Lee's unmatched talent for martial arts, coupled with his untimely death in 1973, elevated him to cult hero status. Fans around the world still celebrate his work today.
